In March of 2020, the world entered a lockdown. In an industry that thrives on face to face customer service, the restaurant industry was heading in a deep decline. Teddy Khafif, Founder of AKIMORI, saw an opportunity that most didnt. The simple question was "if the customer cant come to the restaurant, how can we bring the restaurant to the customer?". Khafif gathered his team of professional chefs and managers, purchased all of the necessary equipment needed to transport his product, and started to offer private Omakase experiences providing the same quality food and service you would normally get when going out to eat but in the comfort of your own home. After tremendous success, Teddy Khafif decided to open up the first kosher Omakase restaurant in Brooklyn, NY. "The restaurant industry has totally changed, and we're the ones who are changing it.
